Capital Allowances Consultant
RCK Partners is consultancy specialising in innovation funding and tax relief. Since incorporation in 2020 we have quickly risen to market leading prominence and now firmly sit within the top providers in the industry. Based in the City of London we currently occupy two floors of Forum House with our growing staff, in excess of 90 people.
We are recruiting this role to join our growing Capital Allowances team at RCK Partners. Our current team has extensive experience of providing advice to a diverse mix of clients, across all sectors and industries during the design, construction, acquisition and disposal process. We specialise in undertaking fully disclosed Capital Allowances reports on behalf of our clients that can be submitted to HMRC.
The successful candidate must have excellent current working knowledge of the Capital Allowances scheme. We are seeking an enthusiastic, driven individual who has an interest in undertaking analytical work. They must be able to demonstrate reliability, flexibility and initiative. The candidate must also have the ability to work under pressure, in order to meet client filing deadlines, and be able adapt to ever changing client and market requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with cost planning
- Cost analysis of building contract documentation
- Cost analysis for company accounts additions
- Undertaking land valuations for tax purposes
- Assisting with site surveys, for capital allowances purposes
- Preparation of investment and property valuation reports for capital allowances tax purposes
- Analysing fixed asset additions to identify expenditure qualifying for capital allowances
- Being involved in a range of capital allowances advisory work including land remediation, transaction planning and technical advisory work
- Preparing client pitches and client presentations
- Assisting with the capital allowances due diligence process on acquisitions and disposals
Experience Required
- 2 + years' experience in a Capital Allowance consulting role
- Articulate and professional
- Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills
- Resilient, adaptable and above all, keen and enthusiastic with a hunger to learn and diversify

- Confident to meet, network and socialise with potential and existing clients
